Martin Hagen

Martin Hagen (20th-21st century) was active/lived in Wyoming.  Martin Hagen is known for Sculpture.

Martin Hagen was US junior biathlon champion in 1973-75 and became one of the first juniors to compete on the US National Team. In 1978 he was awarded the Sven Johanson Award as the top US biathlete. He competed at the 1976, 1980, and 1984 Winter Olympics. He has been inducted into the US Biathlon Hall of Fame as well as the JH Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame. Hagen is from Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1978 with a degree in natural sciences. He later became a river guide for Barker-Ewing in the Jackson Hole area. Hagen has become an accomplished sculptor and musician. His bronze sculptures mostly depict wilderness and wildlife scenes.
